I made this pie dough yesterday and was planning on baking a blueberry pie today. But since yesterday I couldn’t help myself but bake a batch of blueberry muffins, I decided I just couldn’t bake a blueberry pie today, so I just went to the store and buy some Lady Pink apples. This is the first time I’m baking an apple pie and it turned out better than expected!
If you decide to try this recipe (and I recommend you do!), please don’t forget to buy some vanilla ice-cream! It’s definitely a must. This apple pie + vanilla ice-cream = oh-so-delicious.
Don’t feel intimidated by making a pie dough from scratch – I know it can be a headache sometimes, but the satisfaction you get after it’s priceless. And it will get better in time, trust me!
P.S: this recipe makes a double pie crust so you can freeze one for another time.
